NORMAN — A couple weeks into summer school last year, Dante Buford was feeling pretty good about how things were going at Oklahoma.
The freshman was looking like he'd be one of the first options off the bench for the Sooners with a chance to expand his role as the year progressed.
But now, more than a year later, Buford is finally preparing to make his Lloyd Noble Center debut.
He's expected to do that Friday, coming off the bench sometime early in the game when No. 8 Oklahoma hosts McNeese State in its home opener at 7 p.
