Jalen Hurts is living an alternate reality.
Or at least a vastly different one than he envisioned three years ago.
He was reminded of that Saturday after the Big 12 Championship Game. The Oklahoma quarterback was talking to Alex Grinch, and the Sooners’ defensive coordinator mentioned how unlikely it would’ve seemed back in 2016 for Hurts to finish his college career this way. He was the starting quarterback then for Nick Saban at Alabama, after all.
Life was grand.
