Oklahoma announced Kyler Murray as its starting quarterback at 12:25 p.m. on Twitter, and about five hours later Murray held his first press conference as the Sooners' starter.
"This is a moment, since I started playing, I've been working for this," Murray said in his blue No. 1 practice jersey. "For me to be named the starting quarterback is obviously a huge honor. I know the standard of the position at this university so it's my job to uphold it."
