ATLANTA — When Oklahoma’s bus rolled up to the Sooners’ hotel Monday afternoon, Ronnie Perkins, Rhamondre Stevenson and Trejan Bridges stepped off.
The trio of Sooners are in Atlanta, but will not play in Saturday’s 3 p.m. Peach Bowl against LSU, Sooners coach Lincoln Riley confirmed.
It had been widely reported last week that the three players were suspended.
“They will not play,” Riley said succinctly.
Riley declined to elaborate on the reason for the suspensions, though sources have indicated the suspensions were from testing positive for drugs in an NCAA test.
“I don’t air guys’ dirty laundry out,” Riley said.
