NORMAN — For just the second time in school history, Oklahoma has three unanimous All-America picks.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield, tight end Mark Andrews and offensive tackle Orlando Brown were all picked as first-team All-Americans by the American Football Coaches Association to wrap up their unanimous status.
Unanimous All-Americans are picked first team by the Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, Sporting News and Walter Camp Football Foundation in addition to the AFCA team.
The trio is the 33rd, 34th and 35th Sooners to earn the honor.
In 2003, defensive tackle Tommie Harris, linebacker Teddy Lehman, cornerback/returner Antonio Perkins, cornerback Derrick Strait and quarterback Jason White earned the honor.
