NORMAN — On the long bus ride from the Cotton Bowl back to Norman, Oklahoma linebacker Jordan Evans pulled out his iPad and reviewed the carnage of the Sooners' 24-17 loss to Texas earlier in the day.
One play in particular — Marcus Johnson's 24-yard jet-sweep reception for the Longhorns' first touchdown — stood out.
It stood out for the numerous missed tackles and for the seeming reliance on some other guy making the play by nearly every player involved. It also stood out because of all the problems that were illustrated in that loss, ones that were evident in that play seem fixable with some added toughness.
