NORMAN — Lincoln Riley wasn't expecting a phone call.
The Oklahoma football coach and his staff were at a an outing at Texas Rangers game when he got a call from 2020 safety target Bryson Washington.
"(We) took all the coaches and wives and families there and we were in a suite watching a Rangers game and Bryson actually called and committed during that game," Riley said. "We didn’t know it was going to happen."
"We had him up on FaceTime and the whole staff’s going crazy, and it was pretty fun."
It was perfect timing, Riley said.
