Oklahoma's Starrland Baldwin had a chance to be a contributor last season before suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament early in camp.
Now, it appears as if the redshirt freshman cornerback is off the team.
Baldwin was not on the roster included with Oklahoma's game notes ahead of Sunday's season opener against Houston (6:30 p.m., ABC).
But Baldwin remains, as of Monday afternoon, on the online roster at SoonerSports.com.
He tore his ACL early in camp last year, missed the spring and then started camp off limited.
Just a few days ago, though, Baldwin posted a video of him going through workouts on Twitter, saying he was "back to doing what I love.
