OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said Wednesday what most of us already knew – the Sooner football spring game, scheduled for April 18, would have to be cancelled, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Without a doubt,” Castiglione told me while I hosted on the Sports Animal radio network. “I can just tell you, while we haven’t come out and announced the spring game date being cancelled, I don’t see any way that’s going to happen. I really don’t.
“We’re sitting here looking at it from two different ways. People are cancelling all kinds of events for 30 or more days.
