NORMAN — Spencer Rattler could be the future for the Sooners in coming seasons, but, for now, he’s putting in his work on Oklahoma’s scout team.
Sooner fans haven’t seen Rattler take the field since Sept. 28 when he played against Texas Tech, but the freshman quarterback has been improving while on the scout team.
“He's done a few things with us and done a nice job on the scout team,” Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said. “That's been good for both him and our defense, of getting to face those guys with a lot of reps each and every day.
