WACO, Texas — Last season, Zack Sanchez was unquestionably the Sooners' top defensive back.
This year, he's given up that spot to Jordan Thomas.
During Oklahoma's 44-34 win over Baylor on Saturday, Thomas turned in yet another strong game, spending most of the time matched up with star Baylor receiver Corey Coleman.
Coleman had just three catches for 51 yards. Thirty-seven of those yards came on one catch.
“JT's the best corner in the Big 12 right now by far and one of the best in the country,” Sanchez said. “That was a big thing for him.
