NORMAN — Kaylee Burris was 12 years old when she fell in love with Oklahoma football.
Her cousin and her cousin's parents invited Kaylee to join them for OU-Texas in 2001.
“I didn't know a whole lot about football,” Burris said. “Well, that was the game Nate Hybl got hurt and Jason White came in and I'm from Tuttle (White's hometown) so that was really awesome. Just the OU-Texas experience and the stadium was lit and it was just something that I fell in love with and ever since then I've just been obsessed.”
So Burris will be in the stands Saturday — hours before the game kicks off, and she plans on being there until the very end regardless of how things are going on the field.
