NORMAN — James Lockhart had a rough night three weeks ago Saturday.
The Baylor defensive end was able to be somewhat disruptive early in that game against Oklahoma that ended in the biggest comeback in Sooners history.
By the time the game was 20 minutes old, Lockhart had three tackles. It looked like he was on the way to perhaps having the best game of his career after setting a career high with five tackles a week earlier.
Then the Sooners’ R.J. Proctor settled in.
Since Proctor came in for a struggling — and banged up — Erik Swenson in the first quarter of that eventual 34-31 comeback win over the Bears, Oklahoma’s offensive line has played the best it has all year.
