NORMAN — Oklahoma senior linebacker Devante Bond's absence was felt on the Sooners' defense when he missed four consecutive games after suffering a high-ankle sprain against West Virginia.
But Bond finally returned Saturday night and tallied two tackles, including one for a loss, in Oklahoma's 52-16 win over Iowa State.
Bond discussed his absence, his return and the upcoming critical stretch for the Sooners in a Q&A with The Oklahoman.
Q: How's your ankle feel right now?
A: It's good (jumps). I'm jumping around. I'm OK.
How tough have the last few weeks been?
