NORMAN — OU might not have picked up a running back in the 2021 signing class, but they've already got their man at that position for the 2022 class.
Raleek Brown, the top all-purpose back in next year's class and the No. 31 overall player in the class according to Rivals.com, committed to the Sooners on Friday.
Brown, a standout at Santa Ana (California) Mater Dei, had offers that included Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Texas and USC among others.
Brown (5-foot-9, 170 pounds) is the first major commit for OU running backs coach Demarco Murray, who joined Lincoln Riley's staff a year ago.
