The Sooners received a signing day surprise late Wednesday afternoon as three-star safety Ty DeArman flipped from Arizona State to Oklahoma.
The Arlington, Texas native had been committed to Arizona State since June. DeArman attended OU's Junior Day, but he only recently received a scholarship offer from Oklahoma.
DeArman is listed as an athlete, but he's expected to play defensive back at OU.
DeArman is the 124th-ranked Texas prospect, according to the 247Sports composite.
