Oklahoma climbed a spot in the AP Poll following its 34-27 victory against Texas.
The Sooners checked in at No. 5 in the latest poll released Sunday afternoon. Texas fell from No. 11 to No. 15.
While OU recorded its first marquee win of the season Saturday, the Sooners' slight move up the poll had as much to do with Georgia's stunning loss to South Carolina. The Bulldogs, formerly ranked No. 3, fell to No. 10 after their 20-17 defeat.
Oklahoma trails No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Clemson and No. 4 Ohio State in the AP Top 25.
