The 2020 college football season is months away, but the honors are starting to roll in for Creed Humphrey.
The Shawnee native and OU redshirt junior was named to the preseason All-American first team Thursday by the prestigious Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Humphrey, who is widely projected to be a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has started 26 of his 28 career games with the Sooners. He earned second-team All-America honors last season from the Walter Camp Foundation, Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America and Sporting News.
Humphrey was also a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, given each season to the nation's top center.
