STILLWATER — Finally, there was a chance for Oklahoma fans to exhale a bit in the fourth quarter.
For Oklahoma State, there was no epic Bedlam comeback.
The Sooners’ Kennedy Brooks outdueled his Cowboys’ counterpart as No. 7-ranked Oklahoma beat No. 21 Oklahoma State 34-16.
It was OU’s fifth consecutive Bedlam win and 15th in the last 17 meetings.
Oklahoma has made a habit of playing tight games over the last month but there was no such fourth-quarter drama at Boone Pickens Stadium this night.
Brooks finished with 160 yards and a touchdown while OSU’s star running back, Chuba Hubbard, had 104 yards and a touchdown.
