OU football: Rodney Anderson away from team as he rehabs knee injury

Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson is not with the team as he rehabs a right knee injury, according to the Tulsa World.

Anderson suffered a season-ending knee injury on Sept. 8 against UCLA. The junior running back entered the season as the Sooners’ featured back after rushing for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns last year.

The redshirt junior has one year of eligibility left, but it’s expected that he’ll declare for the 2019 NFL Draft. Anderson graduated in May but is enrolled in online classes to maintain his eligibility, according to the report.
