It was a play that defined the physical gulf between OU and Alabama in the Orange Bowl. The jolt from Jacobs put the Tide on top 28-0 in the second quarter.

“It was poor fundamentals on the tackle,” Barnes said Monday. “It’s football. Things like that happen. I definitely have been playing it over, and learning from it and I’m ready to attack this season.
