AMES, Iowa – OU senior associate athletic director Zac Selmon made his first visit to Jack Trice Stadium on Thursday night. But his father, Dewey, and uncles Lucious and Lee Roy know that field well. Those iconic Sooner defensive linemen played at Iowa State in the 1970s.
Zac Selmon, 31, grew up on OU football, graduated from Norman High School in 2003, went to Wake Forest and started 13 games on the Deacons' 2006 Orange Bowl team, then entered college administration. Selmon went to graduate school at OU and worked with the Sooner Club. Then he took a job in North Carolina's administration before returning to OU in 2015.
