NORMAN — Oklahoma defensive lineman Matt Dimon has had plenty of field time the last two seasons, playing 20 games.
Going into the spring, it looked like the junior from Katy, Texas, could have a chance to compete for a starting spot opposite Charles Tapper.
But Dimon missed much of the spring to deal with personal issues, and there was question whether or not he would return.
Now, Dimon is back with the Sooners and making a big impression so far.
“Tough kid, tough-minded kid,” defensive line coach Diron Reynolds said of Dimon. “Does exactly what you ask him to do.
