NORMAN — Oklahoma’s defensive personnel isn’t all that different from a year ago, but Kansas running back Pooka Williams saw a new group when he watched film this week.
“Most definitely,” Williams told The Oklahoman. “I feel like they've gained more confidence.”
Last November, Williams did his best to destroy the confidence of an already downtrodden OU defense. Williams rushed for a career-high 252 yards against the Sooners. He ran for two touchdowns and averaged 16.8 yards per carry.
His 252 rushing yards were the most by a freshman in Kansas history.
“The line,” Williams said.
