OU football: Playoff committee chairman Rob Mullens answers more questions

Tuesday with Mullens. That’s the November tradition. Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens, chairman of the College Football Playoff committee, stages a teleconference after the release of the committee’s weekly rankings. And playoff executive director Bill Hancock sometimes answers questions, too.

This week, OU rose from No. 10 to No. 9, while Baylor fell from No. 13 to No. 14. For the Wednesday Oklahoman, I wrote about the dank outlook for the Big 12 as it pertains to the four-team playoff. You can read my column here.

But I always like to share the teleconference transcript, to give fans a better glimpse of the process that determines the field.
