Oklahoma football players Kyler Murray and Zach Farrar will play for the Sooners baseball team this season, baseball coach Pete Hughes announced Wednesday.
Murray transferred from Texas A&M and made it clear after his arrival in Norman that he planned on playing both sports.
He was ranked the No. 32 prospect overall in the 2015 draft by ESPN.com's Keith Law before making it clear he was focused on college baseball. Murray transferred before he could play for the Aggies' baseball team.
Farrar, a wide receiver, was a 26th-round pick of the MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox in June.
