NORMAN — Parnell Motley was the hero for Oklahoma against Iowa State, but he's also had some struggles in the Sooners' last two games.
The senior corner dropped what could have been an interception early in the game against the Cyclones, and, two weeks earlier, he was ejected for kicking a Kansas State player.
Before Iowa State's two-point conversion try, Motley gave himself a pep talk and got himself ready to do whatever he needed to do to make a play. It ended up working, and his pick sealed the Sooners' one-point win.
"I was thinking in my mind before the play we didn’t want to be in this position but this is what it comes down too," Motley said.
