KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Orlando Brown needed a life raft in February 2014.
The massive offensive tackle from the heart of SEC country — just outside of Atlanta — had to find a college home and he needed one quick.
For nearly a year, Brown had been committed to Tennessee and expected to be a Volunteer.
He had academic hurdles to overcome but still thought he was destined to play on the banks of the Tennessee River and sing “Rocky Top.”
But Saturday, when Oklahoma travels to Tennessee, Brown will be wearing the crimson and cream instead of the orange and white.
