Legendary former Oklahoma linebacker Brian Bosworth will be honored during Saturday's game between the Sooners and West Virginia with a National Football Foundation Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute.
The salute will come between the first and second quarters Saturday. Bosworth will be in attendance, along with the rest of the 1985 OU national championship team that is set to be recognized at halftime.
Bosworth will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Dec. 8, in New York. The “On-Campus Salute” program allows each inductee to return to his alma mater to accept a Hall of Fame plaque to remain on permanent display at the school.
