NORMAN — Jalen Hurts has been the embodiment of “The Process.”
That’s Nick Saban’s formula that has led to five national championships at Alabama, including one in 2017 with Hurts at quarterback up until the second half of the national championship game.
Now Hurts has brought the process to Oklahoma.
“I think we’re trying to make a big step, make a massive improvement every day so we can better ourselves,” Hurts said Wednesday in his first public media comments since transferring from the Crimson Tide after last season.
Oklahoma’s offense doesn’t need a massive improvement, that much is clear after record-breaking seasons by Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.
