Jefferson (6-foot-2, 236 pounds) announced his decision on Twitter. He’s a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com and his other offers included Arizona State, Nebraska, TCU, Mississippi State and Miami among others. Jefferson had 115 tackles and 13 sacks a year ago for Warren Easton Senior High in New Orleans. There, he was teammates with current OU freshman linebacker Arthur McGinnis. Thanks for all the schools that were trying and showing all the interest but I'll be committing to the University of Oklahoma #OUDNA Jefferson is the 10th commit for the 2016 for Oklahoma and the third linebacker, joining Victory Christian’s Jon-Michael Terry and California high schooler Bryce Youngquist.
Tim Kish’s strong recruiting push continued Monday when the Sooners picked up a commitment from Pernell Jefferson, an outside linebacker from Louisiana.
