OU football: Neville Gallimore placed on Bednarik Award watch list

NORMAN — Neville Gallimore is on the watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, it was announced Tuesday.

The Bednarik Award is given annually to the best defensive player in college football. Former Sooner Teddy Lehman won the award in 2003.

So far this season, the redshirt senior defensive lineman has made 18 total tackles and three sacks.
