MIDWEST CITY — At the end of Midwest City's 41-35 win over Lawton in late September, Bombers coach Darrell Hall's jaw dropped.
His 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end — who just started playing high school football as a junior — turned in a dominating end to the game.
On each of the final three chances for the Wolverines, Jalen Redmond burst through the line and brought down the quarterback for a sack. On the final one, the quarterback came down without the ball and the Bombers recovered to end the game.
“He took control of the game,” Hall said.
