Former OU receiver Marquise Brown, as a guest Tuesday on the Rich Eisen Show, responded to Charley Casserly’s criticism of Kyler Murray.
In early March, Casserly reported that Murray struggled through team interviews at the NFL Combine. The former Redskins and Texans general manager said Murray’s leadership and study habits raised concerns among NFL teams.
“I say that statement is far from the truth,” Brown told Eisen. “He’s probably one of the smartest players I’ve been around. I study this game a lot. He knows his Xs and Os. He knows how to attack coverages.
