OU football: Marquis Hayes out for South Dakota game

Oklahoma will be without its starting left guard against South Dakota.

Sophomore Marquis Hayes isn't dressed out for the 6 p.m. contest. The Maryland Heights, Missouri native started last weekend at left guard.

Virginia graduate transfer R.J. Proctor is expected to start in Hayes' place.

Oklahoma defensive lineman Dillon Faamatau is suited up. Faamatau missed the Houston game due to an undisclosed injury.

Oklahoma's Tyrese Robinson (52), Creed Humphrey (56), Marquis Hayes (54) and Jalen Hurts (1) line up before a play during a college football game between the University of Oklahoma Sooners (OU) and the Houston Cougars at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla., Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019.
