Murray made a big leap forward, transforming from a solid player in the middle of the defense to a star. He led the Sooners with 102 tackles and 17 tackles for loss. DaShaun White moved into a starting role and was fourth on the team in tackles. After Jon-Michael Terry’s season-ending injury, Nik Bonitto became a solid option at the rush linebacker spot while David Ugwoegbu showed promise in a reserve role there.
