NORMAN — Oklahoma signed the most productive wide receiver in Texas high school history on National Signing Day.
Four-star prospect Marvin Mims holds two Texas high school football records. He has the most receiving yards in a career with 5,485 yards and most receiving yards in a single season with 2,629 yards recorded his senior year. He also had 32 touchdowns on 117 catches in his senior season.
The Lone Star High School product was committed to Stanford until Nov. 14, when he flipped his commitment to Oklahoma. Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said he and his staff liked Mims because he continued to get better as his high school career went on.
