OU football: Lincoln Riley addresses Rodney Anderson's NFL draft decision

NORMAN — Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said Monday he "didn't disagree at all" with junior running back Rodney Anderson's decision to declare for the NFL draft.

Anderson made the announcement last week. He had been away from the team in recent weeks to rehab from a season-ending knee injury he suffered in September. It was the third season-ending injury of his OU career.

"There’s no doubt he’s a good enough player," Riley said of Anderson's NFL aspirations. "Could he have continued to get better here and use the development? Sure, anybody could. But the quality of player he is and obviously with his injury history, when you looked at the whole picture it just made sense.
