With growing speculation that Kyler Murray could forgo a professional baseball career and instead opt for the NFL, his agent, Scott Boras, told Yahoo Sports that Murray will immediately transition into baseball training after Oklahoma's season ends and that he won't work out for NFL teams.
“He’s very loyal to the A’s for allowing him to achieve this in college and give him the guarantee of $5 million," Boras told Yahoo on Thursday. "That is something that was very important to Kyler and his family. He has every intention of playing baseball. He’s going to be at spring training with the Oakland A’s on Feb.
