NORMAN — In a week, Kyler Murray will be at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, trying to prove that he deserves to be the top quarterback picked in April’s NFL Draft.
Saturday, the Heisman Trophy winner was back in Norman, honored at halftime of the men’s basketball game against Texas.
But while Murray is working on impressing NFL teams ahead of the draft, he’s done worrying about proving himself as it relates to his 5-foot-9 height.
“(As a kid) I felt like I’d have to prove myself at a lower-level school or a lower-level D-I school.
