NORMAN — Kyler Murray didn't have to sit long Saturday.
The Oklahoma quarterback didn't start the game Saturday against Baylor for undisclosed disciplinary reasons, but he entered on Oklahoma's second series.
Murray promptly led the Sooners to a touchdown after Oklahoma recovered a muffed punt on the Bears' 10-yard line. Murray, on his second play, connected with tight end Lee Morris for a nine-yard touchdown.
Sophomore Austin Kendall made his first-career start at quarterback.
