Kenneth Murray is a nominee for the 2019 Wuerffel Trophy, it was announced Friday.
The Wuerffel Trophy is given annually and recognizes college football players for community services.
Murray works with a number of organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center, Boys and Girls Club of Norman and the J.D. McCarty Center.
Former Sooners Gabe Ikard and Ty Darlington are past recipients of the award. Trevor Knight also won the award after transferring to Texas A&M.
Semifinalists will be announced Nov. 5, and finalists will be announced Nov.
