MORGANTOWN, W.Va.—Saturday's game between Oklahoma and West Virginia wasn't one for receivers to shine.
But Sooners senior Dede Westbrook still made a quick mark, turning Baker Mayfield's mid-range throw into a 75-yard touchdown reception less than six minutes into the game.
Westbrook caught the pass right around the first-down marker and looked like he'd be hauled down with a marginal gain as Mountaineers linebacker Justin Arndt grabbed onto Westbrook.
But the Biletnikoff Award favorite kept his legs moving, spinning sideways before he finally shook off Arndt at the OU 40 and took off 60 more yards for the touchdown.
