NORMAN — When Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook showed up for the news conference to discuss his selection as a Heisman Trophy Finalist, he had a bandaged chin.
A leftover from the hit Saturday, which knocked him out of Bedlam with concussion-like symptoms?
Hardly.
Instead, Westbrook was at OU's Huston Huffman Center on Sunday playing basketball.
Westbrook was on opposite sides with his fellow wide receiver Jarvis Baxter when things got a bit heated between them.
"So we got competitive and a 5-on-5 matchup turned into a 1-on-1 matchup," Westbrook said, smiling.
