ATLANTA — Oklahoma is the only team in the College Football Playoff with a loss.
The Sooners also played six games decided by seven or fewer points.
Combined, the other three playoff teams had four such games — three by LSU and one by Clemson.
Sooners center Creed Humphrey said the close games could be an advantage going into Saturday’s Peach Bowl against LSU.
“I think it really just prepares us to be in any type of game that we find ourselves in,” Humphrey said. “So I think it’s a good thing we’ve faced adversity so far, so nothing is going to surprise us.
