won't be eligible for the College Football Hall of Fame for at least three years, but Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder is already campaigning to get his longtime friend enshrined.
“We are truly proud of his success at Oklahoma,” Snyder said in a statement. “I, and many others I'm sure, will nominate and promote his induction in the NFF College Football Hall of Fame and then know at some point in time he will make it.”
Snyder was the offensive coordinator at Iowa while Stoops was a defensive back and after that, Stoops worked for Snyder at Kansas State as an assistant and a defensive coordinator.
