Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas spent Saturday night in jail in Grady County after being booked for failure to appear in court following a traffic citation in the summer.
Thomas was originally ticketed by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in July, according to online court records, for going 94 mph in a 75 zone. He was sent a notice that his license had been suspended Oct. 1 and a warrant was issued Nov. 19 for failure to appear.
SoonerScoop.com and The Oklahoma Daily initially reported Thomas' booking.
Thomas was suspended for the Sept. 19 game against Tulsa for an undisclosed violation.
