It'll be a packed house for Oklahoma's opener this weekend: Lone Star Sports & Entertainment officials announced that all seats for the Sooners' season opener against Houston at NRG Stadium have been sold.
NRG Stadium has a capacity of 72,220, about 10,000 less than Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Sooners' athletic director Joe Castiglione said the Sooners sold out their ticket allotment a couple weeks ago.
It's the first time since 2012 the Sooners have opened on the road. Oklahoma took down UTEP 24-7 in the 2012 season-opener in El Paso, Texas.
Saturday's game kicks off at 11 a.
