Now that his one-year NCAA suspension over, sophomore defensive lineman Amani Bledsoe will move right into the rotation for Oklahoma.
“He'll play,” defensive coordinator Mike Stoops said in the middle of the Sooners' bye week. “Amani's fresh and he's anxious. You can tell in these last two days working with the ones and the twos that we miss him and he can give us another guy to lean on.”
Bledsoe has filed a lawsuit against the NCAA aimed at restoring his lost eligibility. The NCAA recently filed a motion to dismiss in the case.
