NORMAN — Oklahoma's early season gauntlet might've gotten a little tougher Thursday.
Sooners cornerback Jordan Thomas was arrested early Thursday morning near campus on a complaint of public intoxication and interference with official process and one count of a signed complaint for assault and battery.
“We are aware of it and will monitor the situation and act accordingly,” an OU spokesman said of Thomas' arrest.
While Thomas remains a part of the team and Sooners coach Bob Stoops hasn't commented, the arrest — and Thomas' recent history — calls into question Thomas' availability, especially early in the season when Oklahoma starts at Houston on Sept.
